All fares leaving Logan include $1.50 airport fee plus $4.50 tunnel fee; trips to Logan include a fee of $2.25. When taxi is occupied by more than one psgr, each is charged the regular fare less $2, and there will be no tolls or fees charged, but there is a minimum of $2.50/psgr. Meter applies within 12-mile radius of downtown; otherwise flat rate applies. Taxi fares to all hotels are published by Massport and available at airport. Most are in the $14-25 range. NOTE As we go to press (Oct '02), taxi fares are about to increase substantially.

Fare: $6, (children under 12 free), 15-30 min. Logan DART No. 9 to South Station Transportation Center and Summer St (Red Line commuter rail and financial dist), every 15 min 6 am-8 pm, $5. Free bus No. 22 or 33 every 8-12 min to Airport Station of Rapid Transit. Clean, comfortable; baggage racks. At rail station, Blue Line train every 8-12 min 5 am-1 am. $1. Clean coaches, good wall maps. Four stops (20 min) to Government Center. Interterminal bus No. 11 every 8-12 min, free. NOTE MBTA Visitor Passports available at rail station for 1-day ($6), 3-day ($11), and 7-day ($22) unlimited travel on all local rail and bus lines.
